La fumata

Dalla partenza si sviluppano sentori leggermente speziati, tostati e di terra umida per poi sviluppare una apatica dolcezza di fondo che però non riesce ad emergere completamente. Al di là delle note sensoriali, perché ognuno può sentirci quel cacchio che vuole e non mi interessa, quello che sviluppa nel primo centimetro di fumata rimane indelebilmente scolpito nella pietra e da lì non si schioda più.

A metà sigaro qualcosa scuote il torpore e avverto un guizzo nella dolcezza… che sia il riflesso involontario post mortem delle terminazioni nervose del sigaro? Sperem… invece nada. Innesca perfino note speziate acri che stridono sia al naso che al palato. Un sigaro senza capo né coda dal prezzo a questo punto non adeguato alla fumata.

From the start a slightly spicy, toasted and moist earth notes are developed and then it develops an apathetic sweetness on background which however does not completely emerge. Beyond the sensorial notes, because everyone can feel whatever they want and I don’t care of that, the one that develops in the first centimeter of the smoking remains indelibly carved in the stone and from there it does not come apart anymore.

Halfway through the cigar something shakes the torpor and I feel a flicker in the sweetness. It even triggers spicy acre notes that screeches both on the nose and on the palate. A cigar without head or tail at the price at this point too high for this kind of smoking.
