Non posso onestamente dire che sia cattivo almeno nella prima parte della fumata, ma non riesce ad esprimere le sue precarie potenzialità. Così come comincia finisce e le soddisfazioni e il godimento in fumata sono praticamente nulli. Lineare, anonimo, poco strutturato e dalla permanenza post fumata quasi inesistente, lasciando chi fuma in uno stato d’animo di perenne ricerca di qualsivoglia godimento.
La struttura sensoriale si basa su note di legno abbastanza anonime, su una dolcezza di nocciola ma poco fine negli aromi agli agrumi e spezie che risultano anche urticanti al naso. Frana però in un finale scomposto, acido e per nulla piacevole.
Peccato perchè l’eleganza innata di questo storico formato renderebbe questo Punch, se coadiuvata da un eccellente impianto sensoriale, un grande classico.
I can’t honestly say it’s bad at the beginning, but for sure it’s not able to express its precarious potential. As it begins it ends and the satisfactions and enjoyment are almost nil. Linear, anonymous, poorly structured and with an almost non-existent post-smoking permanence, leaving those who smoke in a mood of perennial search for any enjoyment.
The sensorial structure is based on fairly anonymous wood notes, on a sweetness of hazelnut but it’s not very fine in the aromas of citrus fruits and spices which are also stinging on the nose. Then it landslide in a decomposed end, acid and not at all pleasant.
Too bad because the innate elegance of this historic format would make this Punchit, if supported by an excellent sensorial structure, a great classic.
