La fumata
La qualità della fattura, combustione e tabacchi è decisamente quella di Davidoff, cioè perfetta. Le note dominanti sono le spezie che evolvono in un continuo alternarsi tra tutte le tonalità che vanno dal dry al dolce mentre il pepe dal sottofondo emerge poco dopo pieno e rotondo.
Su queste due caratteristiche principali si innestano note di pelle con sentori selvatici, terra, legno, caramello, rabarbaro, frutta secca tostata, caffe amaro, cioccolato. Un sigaro veramente complesso, bilanciato, armonico, intenso e tonico e che proprio per queste caratteristiche, di intensità e tonicità, esce dagli standard Davidoff mantenendone però la sublime qualità. Una gran bella sorpresa e mi viene da dire “molta roba”.
The quality of production, combustion and tobaccos is definitely a Davidoff one, indeed perfect. The dominant notes are the spices that pass through all the shades ranging from dry to sweet ones while the pepper from the background soon emerge full and round.
On these two main features grow up leather with wild scents notes, earth, wood, caramel, rhubarb, toasted nuts, bitter coffee, chocolate. A real complex, balanced, harmonious, intense and tonic cigar which, due to these last two characteristics, goes beyond Davidoff standards while maintaining the sublime quality. An awesome surprise and I feel to say: “a lot of stuff”.
